Nacht (xx) g’arbeit’t. Und i steh’ um fimfe in der Fruah auf! Heunt wieder um halber zehn in der Kirchen (Charfreitag) bis ummer halber zwölf. Nacher is mr todt.“ Ich bedauerte ihn stumm. „Seg’ns“, fuhr er fort, „bei uns geht All’s a so. Es fehlt der Ernst. Alles is marastisch. Mr überlegt si nix früher. So is’s mit der G’schicht mit’n Erzherzog Franz. Wann (xx)  mer a Prinz, an Erz= herzog is, na da kann mr net mach’n was ma wüll. Mr wass ja bei die Herrn a net früher ob’s Ernst is. Am [End’] schickt er’s nacher wieder furt. An Erzherzog (xx)  muass ja (xx)  â Rücksicht’n nemma. Wann er eine Unterthanin heirat’t, kann das ja das monarchische Princip schädig’n. Er kriegt da Verwandte von seiner Frau her, die nehmen an Einfluss. Darum hat man ja immer die Prinzessinnen so von der Welt abg’schnitten, dass Keiner dazu kann, dass von derer Seiten keine Einflüsse kommen.
