השיחה קלחה מיד בערנות רבה, כי בדברי על הציונות אמרתי שהאנטישמיות עלולה להגיע גם לאנגליה בגלל הכשלונות בדרום־אפריקה המיוחסים למתעשרים.

באנגליה אין אנטישמיות ולעולם לא תוכל להיות, אמרה הגברת אוֹסטין החביבה, ורב־הפייטנים אישר את דבריה.
