Er spielte sich zu sehr als „Retter der Bank“ auf, noch bevor er etwas gethan hat, u. das A[ktions-] C[omité] hielt es für gefährlich, ihm zur „ewigen Dankbarkeit“ verpflichtet zu sein.   Aus Kanns Demission ist ein unangenehmer Sturm geworden. Er wollte uns durch die Drohung, er werde „die Gründe seiner Demission“ publiciren, ins Bockshorn jagen. Da wir die Demission daraufhin einfach annahmen, rächte er sich u. richtete einen heillosen Rummel an. Alle sind ängstlich. Ich steuere aber unser Schiff ganz ruhig weiter. Ein geradezu perfides „streng vertrauliches“ Circular versendet Lourie. Die Antwort, die ich darauf gebe, wird unter den Acten des Congressbureaus der Zukunft er= halten bleiben.   Moi hat ein neues Exposé verlangt. Ich schrieb ihm am 10ten d[iese]s dass ich schon
