In a previous letter I asked you to give me the names of some persons whom we could elect to the Society of Jews. This Society is to consist of a large Committee on which we shall put distinguished Jews—Englishmen, for the most part—and of an Executive Committee.

 אודיע לך על כך מבעוד מועד, כדי שאפשר יהיה להקדים ולקבוע את הערב אצל "המכבים" ל־21 ביוני.

אם אסע לקושטא — והדבר חייב להישאר בגדר סוד גמור לפי שעה! – אודיע לך גם על כך מבעוד מועד, כדי שתוכל לפעול אצל אלה מחברי ה־Community (הקהילה) שלך שנוכחותם חשובה בעת היותי שם, שיישארו בלונדון עד 5 ביולי. 

ואז ניוועד אצל "המכבים" ב־5 ביולי.

במכתב קודם ביקשתי שתנקוב בשמותיהם של כמה אנשים שנוכל לצרפם ל־Society of Jews. ה־Society הזאת צריכה להיות מורכבת מוועד גדול שנושיב בו יהודים מכובדים — ברובם אנגלים — ומוועד מנהל.
