après  l’ordre impératif  donné par de S[a] M[ajesté] I[mpériale] le Sultan (xx)  qui serait invité (xx) par son puissant ami S[a] M[ajesté] l’Empereur de Russie de le donner, que le gouvernement ottoman pourrait s’occuperait sérieusement de l’affaire qui comporte des avantages financiers pour le Trésor Impérial. Néanmoins je ne me permettrais pas d’insister sur la forme  proposée (xx) de l’intervention quoique celle proposée par moi soit la seule qui me fasse espérer un résultat. V[otre] E[xcellence] (xx)  jugera peut- être bon de me faire venir pour me présenter à S[a] M[ajesté] l’Em= pereur et après cette audience qui serait signalée à S[a] M[ajesté] I[mpériale] le Sultan que serait dans  je me rendrais à Co[n]s[tantino]ple pour négocier. De toute façon je suis aux ordres de V[otre] E[xcellence] et j’attends les décisions. (xx) Ce n’est pas pour moi que je suis impatient. Le malaise et la misère (xx) de … (xx)

רק על־פי פקודתו הנחרצת של הוד רוממותו הקיסרית הסולטאן, שתינתן בעקבות בקשה של ידידו רב־העוצמה הוד רוממותו הקיסר של רוסיה, תעסוק ממשלת טורקיה באורח רציני בָּעניין, שיש בו משום יתרונות פיננסיים בשביל האוצר הקיסרי. בכל זאת, לא אעז להפציר בנוגע לאופן ההתערבות, אף־על־פי שהאופן שהצעתי הוא היחיד המפיח בי תקווה שיניב תוצאה.

אולי תמצא לנכון, הוד מעלתך, לקרוא לי לבוא כדי להציג אותי לפני הוד רוממותו הקיסר, ואחרי הריאיון הזה, שיודיעו עליו להוד רוממותו הקיסרית הסולטאן, אסע לקושטא למשא ומתן.
