Nur an die heiligen Stätten cramponnirte er sich (wie alle jüdischen Banquiers). Kein Antisemit hat sich bisher

ברור שווארמן אמר "שגריר יהודי בפֶּשט". האדון ויטֶה סיפר את האנקדוטה בצורה גרועה. אחר־כך תפסתי את השור בקרניו ותקפתי את טיעוני הנגד שלו au fur et à mesure (אחד לאחד), בסדר שהציגם, ומוטטתי אותם. אט־אט הסכים שאני צודק. הוא רק נטפל לעניין המקומות הקדושים (כמו כל הבנקאים היהודים). שום אנטישמי לא ראה בזה מכשול, רק הוא, "ידיד היהודים".
