Ich reise um 10 Uhr V[or]M[ittag] ab, bin Donnerstag

V[or]- M[ittag] in Smyrna, Freitag im Piraeus, Sonntag in

Alexandrien, Dienstag in Port Said, Mittwoch in

Jaffa. Mittheilungen erbitte ich durch

die Legation des betreffenden Ortes, die ich

sofort aufsuchen werde, wenn eine Zeile in

Tho[ma]s Cooks Office hinterlegt wird. Namentlich

bitte ich ganz ergebenst, mir in Alexandrien

mittheilen zu lassen, wann und wo sich die

Abordnung S[eine]r M[ajestät] vorzustellen hat, sowie ob

der Deputation (die aus 5 europäischen

Zionisten besteht) auch palästinensische

Colonisten zu zuziehen sind. Dies müsste ich

wegen der nothwendigen Arrangements schon in

Alexandrien wissen.

Wenn der vorgeschlagene Text meiner Ansprache

nicht convenirt, so werde ich in Palästina noch

die gewünschten Correcturen vornehmen.

I shall append the conclusion later. I am leaving at ten o’clock, shall be at Smyrna on Thursday morning, at Piraeus on Friday, at Alexandria on Sunday, Port Said on Tuesday, Jaffa on Wednesday. Any messages should kindly be sent via the Legation of the city concerned, where I shall call immediately if a line is left at Thomas Cook’s Office. Above all, I request most respectfully that word be sent me at Alexandria as to when and where the deputation is to present itself to His Majesty, and also as to whether Palestinian Zionists are to be added to the deputation (which consists of five European Zionists). I would have to know this as early as Alexandria, in order to make the necessary arrangements.

If the proposed draft of my address is not satisfactory, I shall make the desired corrections in Palestine.

את הסוף אשלים. אני יוצא מכאן בשעה עשר לפני הצהריים, אהיה ביום ה׳ לפני הצהריים באיזמיר, ביום ו׳ בפּירֵאוּס, ביום א׳ באלכסנדריה, ביום ג׳ בפורט סעיד, ביום ד׳ ביפו. אם יהיו הודעות בשבילי, אני מבקש שיימסרו באמצעות הנציגויות במקומות הללו, ואגש אליהן מיד אם ישאירו לי הודעה על כך במשרד תומס קוּק המקומי. במיוחד אני מבקש בהכנעה שיודיעו לי לאלכסנדריה מתי והיכן תתייצב המשלחת וכן אם לצרף אל המשלחת (שבה חמישה ציונים מאירופה) גם מתיישבים מארץ־ישראל. יהיה עלי לדעת זאת כבר באלכסנדריה בגלל הסידורים הנחוצים.

אם הנוסח המוצע של דברַי [אל הקיסר] אינו מקובל, אתקן בארץ־ישראל את התיקונים המבוקשים.
